Global Coffee Awards (GCA) is seeking an experienced Sales & Relationship Manager to join the team. The ideal candidate will be multi-lingual and be based in Europe. 

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in sales or account management. Familiarity with specialty coffee and its key players is a significant advantage. You’ll be working directly with stakeholders across the entire coffee supply chain, including coffee roasters, exporters, producers, green coffee traders, and importers.

This is a full-time or part-time, permanent, remote position, with occasional in-person meetups. You’ll be responsible for managing and selling a diverse range of GCA offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work independently according to an existing sales strategy to meet revenue targets
  • Sell sponsorship packages, event booths, cupping sessions, and GCA-related services
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for sponsorships and long-term partnerships
  • Maintain strong working relationships with existing clients & sponsors
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the supply chain: roasters, exporters, producers, importers, and more
  • Communicate with our team to coordinate project launches
  • Join regular meetings to update other team members on sales
  • Regularly meet with the CEO and COO to provide updates on revenue goals

Essential Skills & Experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a client-facing sales or account management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Track record of developing and executing a sales strategy
  • Experience with G Suite

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with HubSpot
  • Experience with specialty coffee
  • Experience working in international teams

This includes not only being present on the days of the event but also arriving at least a week early for preparations. Occasional pre-event short trip visits to the venue or other relevant locations may also be required.
